Woolie is as unique and dynamic as they come. I have had him since he is about 10 weeks. He is now 11.5 years young. He is a gorgeous blue-eyed, Himalayan/ Siamese Mix with "Lavender" points. He is polydactyl which means he has 6 toes on each paw. He loves playing fetch and his paws are large enough to actually throw his toy on his own (it's hilarious to watch). He is very intelligent, vocal and LOVES cuddles and belly rubs. He also enjoys access to the outdoors. He is very playful and has a history of getting along very well with dogs. Wollie lived peacefully with a Staffordshire Bull terrier (Pitbull) for 4 years and has been friendly and playful with other dogs and cats he has met. I say he is "special needs" because he has always needed a lot of attention but since I had my daughter (5 years ago), his feelings of jealousy and need for my attention has increased to a level I am not resourced to offer. I have tried to make it work because I love him, but it's just not fair to him nor me. It is my hope that someone can give him more of what he needs. I am a single-working mama so I hope to rehome him to a loving home where he can get lots of attention and, most importantly, play-time. He loves to play and I would want him to go somewhere where he gets playtime every day (which I currently cannot offer him). I just took him to the Vet for a wellness check at which point his blood work came back in "Excellent condition" according to the Vet, and his Urinalysis was free from infectious bacteria, however the Vet did see some White Blood cells which she said she is not concerned about given his excellent health. She said she feels it's more likely a stress-response from our recent move. It is important I let people know that Woolie's behavior has included minimal spraying in our home, but that was resolved after I added a second litter box. I have learned that he likes a clean litter box so I clean it out every day and I change it out every two weeks max. He has NOT exhibited spraying behavior in some time and I feel very confident that when his needs are met, he does not feel the need to do this. Woolie has never scratched my furniture nor destroyed anything in my home. I have always had a scratching post, which he loves. Like I said he is vocal, (as most Siamese are) so he pretty much asks for what he wants. And it is usually a request for playtime, cuddles or food. Everyone who comes in contact with him falls in love with him. He is super charming, affectionate and (did I mention) playful ;)
