Willy is a grey kitty with a short crooked tail and a belly as soft as a bunny's that loves to be rubbed.
He is up to date on his shots. He sees the vet in banks (503-324-6060)
He is an inside cat only and loves our dog Gus very much. At bedtime he waits for him to fall asleep then he slowly sneaks up to him and cuddles. Willy also cuddles with us. He flops along side of me and throws his leg over my arm. He doesn't like to be held much. He likes to lay beside you and get belly rubs.
He likes to lovingly chew on our fingers but we are trying to break him of that because he does this to Gus and it scares him, and I'm sure it hurts a little sometimes. We tell him no and if he doesn't stop we tap him on his nose and tell him no! He doesn't run away like most cats, so we keep petting him, and if he continues we ignore him. That usually works.
Willy and Gus try to play together but Gus is too old, frail, crippled and is easily hurt.
We have a leash for Willy. He loves to roll around on the deck and watch the birds. He doesn't like loud noises when he is outside so he will run in the house if he here's something. He doesn't like to get too far from access to inside. Sometimes he will run outside but doesn't get too far. It scares him, and me!! If you make a loud noise he will run back in the house. He got out one morning when my husband went to work and
a neighbor cat bit him. He was friendly but she wasn't. We had to take him to the vet where they put him on antibiotics.
Willy is always by your side if he is not napping. He is very into what we are doing and try's to help! If I were to describe Willies personality it would be that of our boxer, who passed ; fun, loving, and curious! He loves his family!
He will bring his mouse or zip tie for you to throw. He loves this game!! He also like his lazier light, but gets pooped out quickly.
He loves loves loves to be hand fed. He will either flop on his back to be fed or will sit. It works best when he lays down. He also likes for you to toss the kitty food one nugget at a time. He has quite a personality!
He only eats dry kitty food. We have tried to give him kitty snacks, chicken breast, fish, and shrimp but he will smell but won't eat it!! He will occasionally chew on a doggie treat, or a rawhide chew. We buy his kitty food at Costco.
He will only use litter from Costco. I tried others but he won't step on it!! Such a goofball!
He has always used his litter box. He has never had an accident.
We would like to send him with his cat tree. He likes to nap in it. We also have revolution flea treatment, cat litter, and his toys and food.
One bad habit he has is he loves to chew on cardboard. I covered the box with tin foil and he left it alone.
We bought him kitty grass but he seems gets too hyper when he has it!!!
You have to be careful when walking because he likes to run ahead of you then he flops down hoping for a belly rub. When Gus goes outside for potty, Willy goes to the door and meows. He loves his fur brother and his human.
He has little experience with children.
Our grandkids stayed the night and he was afraid of them at first but was warming up to them by the end of their weekend stay. (They are 5 and 3 yrs old)
This is very hard for us, but we want what is best for Willy and Gus.
